Our dear Swiss relative, Ursula, has been emailing us some great old photos & I just love this one~EJ is about 2 1/2 here & already LOVED baseball! The bottom photo is from his senior year playing baseball at Michigan State.

Livvy's Party

We had a really fun little family birthday party for Liv last Saturday~it was just perfect & she had so much fun!! Especially with the cake...you'll see! :)

Here's the group except the birthday girl is hiding behind Grampy's head!

She LOVED her balloons Grammy & Grampy gave her~it was a highlight!


Nana made both of the delicious cakes~this one was for her to dig into & was the theme of the ducky party!

Brady & Jane had so much fun together & are very good buddies!!

We knew she was going to be one of those babies that really gets into the cake...we were not dissappointed! :)

Livvy got lots of wonderful presents including this fun stroller/walker from Nana & Papa & her new Bobcat cheerleading outfit from us!

We went to the Bobcat playoff game after her little party~dissappointing ending for our Cats but I had to get a picture of the birthday girl with Champ~she really loves him!!

Olivia Kay Is One Today!!

Our little girl was born one year ago today, at 7:54 a.m.! She has been an absolute angel & such a wonderful blessing in our lives~she brings such a light to our family & makes us smile every single day! Here are a few things we know about our little Livvy:

  She loves to dance & has some pretty great moves!

  She loves to make people laugh & has a very funny little personality

  She has 2 teeth (barely...)

  Everytime she sees an animal she growls...doesn't matter what animal it is! :)

Trip to the Desert!!!

We just got back from a super fun family vacation to Tucson! Many of you know that Brady has been completely obsessed with our impending trip to the "desert" so it was so great to finally get there! Jeff & Papa both qualified for this trip with State Farm (only 20 out of 850 agents in the Pacific NW qualified!!) & we stayed at the Westin La Paloma which was a beautiful resort & extremely family-friendly! The weather was great except for one day (we had a USA/Canada hockey-watching party with friends that day so it was perfect!) The trip was made even better because Dusty, EJ & Jenee all were able to join us so we had the whole Weedin/Daws clan together!

In the plane headed out of Bozeman & down to some warm weather! As we got above the clouds, Brady told Jeff he bet the clouds must feel like mashed potatoes! :)

Even though Livvy is in a very BUSY stage, she did great on her first plane ride

Brady was totally excited about the "Shaqtus" as he called them (from a funny commercial that has Shaq's face carved into a cactus that Papa told him about) long before we left. His daddy also had him totally anxious about the Jumpin' Cholla.

I really wish I had a video of him walking out of the airport & seeing his first Saguaro cactus~he was soooo excited!

He had so much fun with EJ & Jenee~he keeps telling me he misses them now that we're home!!




We also got to celebrate Papa's birthday while we were down there!

Jeff & I took the kids & played a little tennis one morning~it was Brady's first tennis & he loved it!

The pools & waterslide were a huge hit & highlight of our time!

Brady LOVED going down the slide with Daddy & his uncles & papa~I bet he went down 30 times!

They both did awesome golfing with us!

Livvy didn't like her thighs to touch the grass so she was constantly in a juxtaposition!

We actually saw a BOBCAT on the course one day! The kids weren't with us but we got some good photos of him hunting a rabbit!

We had a fun SF dinner one night with a great band & got to do some dancing!

Brady was a little shy when this girl asked him to dance...it was adorable!

He loosened up a bit when Papa got out there with him!
