Hangin' with the Thompsons!

Our dear friends, The Thompsons, came out for a visit over Labor Day & it was a fantastic couple of days!  You know you are close friends when it's as if no time has passed between visits & we just pick up right where we left off.  Their little boy, Colton, is such a sweetie & the kids had a ton of fun together.  We road-tripped up to Big Sky for a day, hiked made a solid attempt to hike the "M", the boys played golf & the girls had some spa time & shopped, but mostly we watched the kiddos play & just hung out.  It was perfect & we are already excited about the next visit! :)

Digger Days!

Jeff took the kiddos a couple weekends ago to something called "Digger Days" that is put on by Sime Construction and they had a total blast!!  There was a lot of playing in the dirt, driving tractors & diggers & it was the absolute best Daddy playdate.  We are so incredibly lucky to have a daddy that is so much fun & they honestly love every minute with him.  Here are some pictures he sent from his phone.

Gold Rush in the Dark

As usual, our first Bobcat game was the Gold Rush game BUT for the first time ever it was under the lights!  The Cats won & it was an absolutely fantastic atmosphere with over 20,000 Bobcat fans.  SO.MUCH.FUN.  Grampy came up for the game & Grammy stayed home and watched Liv.  We live so close to the stadium now that they danced to the game music right on our back patio!  

It was a special night for Brady because he has been more excited about these lights for almost a year & has been looking forward to this night game so much!!  He loved every second & it was fun to watch him take it all in.Uncle EJ  Uncle Fun also came home for the big game so we had a blast hanging out with him...wish he could be home for every game!

 Our little girl has a lot going on too!  Today she started preschool-she is going 2 mornings a week & was so excited to start!  She had a great first day & loves her teachers.  She is such a little social butterfly & was totally comfortable right away...she's gonna have a great year. :)

Liv was able to join Maddy's gymnastics group & she had her first day last week!  Her enthusiasm was literally the cutest, most endearing thing I've seen & I am so happy she's doing it.  She & Maddy held hands for much of the time & she has been asking about when she gets to go back about twice a day since we went!

Brady's First Day of Kindergarten!

Big milestone today!  A little hard to put into words the range of emotions this mama is feeling today...for one, I am so very excited for him!  Jeff & I both loved school & know he will too.  He is SO READY and he has an absolute wonderful teacher! :)  On the other hand, boy will I miss my baby!  Gone are those lazy mornings & long lunches together but we had a great visit while he was eating his after school snack & I got to hear all about his first day so I'm looking forward to starting that tradition.  Livvy & I are going to have lots of fun on our girls days too!
