Nana's Christmas Village

Brady just loves looking at my mom's Christmas Village so I thought this was a pretty cute picture~my mom watched him a bunch this week because I was working quite a bit so a big THANK YOU to Nana!!!!

Papa's Christmas Party

We were invited to my dad's office Christmas party last week & we had so much fun! We got Brady all dressed up so he looked pretty sharp. He was really working this cheezy smile thing as you can see!

He is very proud of his bomber jacket he finally fits into! :)

Brady turns 2!!!!

Well, my little man is 2 years old & I have no idea where the time went! What a wonderful 2 years it's been & we are so lucky to have such a sweet little boy. Since he already had his little family party at Thanksgiving, we didn't do another party today but boy did we have a fun day! Jeff & I woke him up with breakfast (chocolate chip pancakes with a b-day candle) in bed! It was always a Daws family tradition that I wanted to continue & he was so excited when we came in his room singing Happy Birthday! Then we took him & Sonny to the Murdochs store & had our picture taken with Santa! Brady was a little shy at first but didn't get scared of Santa so that was good & we didn't have any "Marley" moments with Sonny in the store thank goodness! :) We ended our fun day with the Christmas Stroll where Brady got to ride in Daddy's "Rescue Pack" (for you Diego fans...) & met Santa again! This time Santa may have had a few brewskies, so it makes the expressions on Brady's face even more classic. :)

Turkey Bowl 2008

So it was a perfect day for the Turkey Bowl & needless to say, it was a total blast! We were really missing Lez & my mom & I were out due to health-related circumstances (i.e. shoulder surgery for her & preggers for me) but Sarah (aka Grammy) represented the women quite well! The Daws Team ended up winning on a field goal kick between the trees by Dusty. Brady even contributed to both teams by scoring two 2-point conversions! :) Videos below...enjoy!

Thanksgiving!

We had a really nice Thanksgiving this year~we spent it with both of our families (unfortunately sans Aunt Lez) at my parents' house. The day was absolutely beautiful~we introduced Doug & Sarah to the Annual Daws Family Turkey Bowl before eating & that was so much fun...photos to follow! Brady couldn't get enough of the food...he pretty much cleaned his plate & I'm pretty sure that was the fullest his belly has every been! We were very proud because he ate the whole thing with a spoon & fork...no hands! We've been working on the utensils lately... :) After dinner we celebrated Brady's 2nd birthday a little early with some pumpkin pie & presents so that was fun to do it while we were all together...photos to follow!

We put our tree & decorations up on Sunday so that was fun~one of my favorite things to do & Brady was such a good little helper!

We got some snow today & got all bundled up after dinner to play in it! Brady could not stop giggling & was having so much fun right up until he got a face full of it...

His favorite thing? Throwing snow at Sonny!
