Father's Day

Today was a great day spent celebrating Daddy--I truly could not have asked for a better man to raise our kids!  It is so clear how much he loves being a dad & it warms my heart.   I am in awe of his patience, kindness & how much FUN he is with them & I honestly am so thankful to be sharing this life with him.  

Jeff and I are so, SO lucky to have pretty incredible dads as well who are great examples of unconditional love.  We love you Grampy & Papa!!

We had a super relaxing day with brunch at his favorite place, Nova Cafe, watching Brady's last soccer game & watching lots & LOTS of US Open Golf & NBA Finals...pretty perfect for him! :)

No Training Wheels for Brady!!

A major milestone was passed for Brady today!  He learned to ride his bike without training wheels and we were very proud of him.  Our friends, The Moraskos, loaned their small balance bike to Brady a couple weeks ago because that had really helped Ben learn how to ride without training wheels this spring.  We were able to get some pretty good practice on that bike this week & today he was ready to give it a try.  It was so fun to watch it "click" and he was very proud of himself.  Of course, sis had to get in on the action & we lowered the seat on the balance bike for her so she can get her practice in! :)  Love watching these milestones in the kids. 

His first real ride...you can tell it was clicking.  Pretty funny & impressive to watch Daddy's moves on these videos too!

Family Fun in Coeur d'Alene

We headed to Coeur d'Alene for a quick State Farm trip in early May.  It was a great few days at the Resort with the kids.  You can never underestimate the fun to be had in a hotel with young kids--from the many elevator rides to the room service for breakfast & swimming in the hotel pool we had so much fun.  

There was a company function the first night that was totally family friendly.  They had several Wii's set up around the banquet room, face painting, a photo booth & a dance floor with Liv's kind of music! :)  To say the least we left the party totally spent! Lots of the photos I took were from my phone & are a little grainy...

Liv had Daddy out on the dance floor for a LONG TIME--it was precious.

A mini golf outing--the weather wasn't great but that didn't hamper our spirits!

Liv pretending to make phone calls from the hotel room phone...classic.  She looks angry here but she was actually calling her friends Jenny, Tara & Maddy to come over to play & catching up on gossip with them. :)  I was getting a huge kick out of the whole thing.

A bit hard to tell, but this is Brady & Daddy going down one of the big slides!  The big waterslides were a huge hit for Brady-it's so much fun to see how comfortable he is in the water.

Brady's Soccer--The Black Dragons

Brady enjoyed T-ball last spring, but we decided to try soccer this spring before "real" baseball begins! He has really loved it--he is playing in a 4-5 yr old boys league & it's been a total blast!!  These are pictures from his first game--it was so cute because you literally couldn't wipe the smile off his face the entire game he was having so much fun-what more could a parent ask for when their kids are playing sports?!  This little boy has watched more live sporting events than most 5 year olds so you could tell he was really excited to be on the field & be part of the team the fans were cheering for! :)

Still Catching Up...Easter!

The kids & I spent Easter with my parents this year & had a great couple of days with them.  Jeff was in Augusta, GA with his Dad & close friends to watch the Masters and had a trip of a lifetime!  Here are some pictures of our fun!

Dying eggs was really fun this year--the kids were totally into it and we made some great ones!  Poor Liv starting feeling really sick that evening (Saturday)  and I had to take her into the ER-turns out she had her 4th double ear infection since December...luckily the antibiotics kicked right in & she was lots better by Sunday morning!

We were very proud of our Bobcat one! :)

As usual, there was snow on the ground for Easter so we searched for eggs inside! :)  A Bozeman Easter Tradition!

I saw an idea on Pinterest for the kids to plant jelly beans the night before Easter & the next morning they grow into lollypops!  The kids loved this & it was a fun new tradition to start! :)
