We took my mom to her treatment last week in Billings & got to see Aunt Lez & also went to the Montana Zoo for the first time! It's always a treat to spend quality time with Nana but also such a treat to get to see Lez on a random Friday!
At lunch
I have to say my expectations were pretty low for the Montana Zoo but it was actually great! Of course, no comparison to larger city zoos but seeing this big guy below was worth it in itself! We didn't have a ton of time but Brady truly loves animals & it was such a great experience for him. Poor little Liv had a really bad tummy so spent the entire time in my arms--thus the reason she isn't in any pictures!
I know there are techniques to taking pictures through glass & fences but I haven't had enough time to study up so this was the best I could do!

The wolf exhibit was quite the experience! First when we walked up this wolf had already heard us (we were the only visitors there!) & had gotten into a stalking pose, then came straight up to the fence and just stared...
We weren't quite sure what to think of him--kinda reminded us of a huge dog coming to say hello but after we came back around the exhibit after visiting the tiger & he was waiting for us, then proceeded to follow/stalk us for about 5 straight minutes around the perimeter of his fence we were a little unnerved & glad we had a fence between us & him! The other 2 wolves didn't have any interest in us, just this guy...we decided he was either very lonely & wanted friends OR thought Liv looked like a little snack! :)
