Cabin Fun!

Jeff played in a golf tourney with his dad a couple weekends ago so the kids & I headed up to the cabin for a little fun with my folks & Dusty & Gina!  The kids absolutely LOVE the lake & it's so fun to experience it all through their eyes.  They don't stop from the minute we get there & it's one adventure after another.  Their FAVORITE thing is going on tube rides, followed up by swimming in the lake (Brady) and going on boat rides (Livvy.)

Our good friends, Joe & Terry Johnson & Steve & Nita Wheeler came over for the afternoon & had dinner with us--also joined us for a double boat sunset cruise!

The kids & I were going to sleep under the stars on the deck, but the blow up bed had a hole!   We did get a little time watching the stars though...

Summer's Here!

After 8 months of winter here in Bozeman we try to take advantage of every.single.day of our beautiful summers!  We have had a great week of fun-filled summer activities this week-here is a little recap!

Monday we had our Couples League with some very good friends out at Riverside.  It was a perfect night that ended with the 3 groups in a tie so we had a 1-hole derby which was so much fun!

You can see it's a little smokey--firefighters have been battling forest fires all around us but seem to have them pretty contained now.  Scary stuff.

My cousin, Gretchen and her kids were visiting this week from NYC!  Max & Brady had tennis lessons every morning which they loved.  It gave me a chance to snuggle my little God Daughter, Lucy, and catch up with Gretchen!  Liv & Tessa had so much fun playing together & watching their big brothers.  We also had a fun playdate at the pool!

Catching Up...A Great Visit to Arizona!

Whoa...this is waaaaayyy late but we took a really fun, quick trip to Scottsdale in late January.  It was a great weekend because we were able to combine a fun State Farm gathering at the Gainey Ranch with seeing our dear friends, The Poortingas, and their sweet baby, Maree!  It was wonderful catching up with them & also enjoying a fun little adult getaway!  The kiddos got to spend a great few days with Grammy & Grampy which was wonderful!

We went to some pretty amazing places to eat while we were there-this was at Mastros Steakhouse where they LOVE Marc & Ellen.  We were treated like celebs by the entire staff & we weren't sure why they made us this special dessert with "Congratulations" on it but we think it was because Marc was bragging about Jeff's business which was really sweet. :)
