30th Surprise Birthday in Vegas!!!

Well, it was no secret that I turned 30th this year...it was a secret, however, that my wonderful husband had organized a HUGE weekend-long party down in Vegas with almost 20 friends as a total surprise!!!! I can't even explain how much fun I had~it was truly one of the best weekends of my life! It was just incredibly humbling to see that all of these wonderful friends had flown to Vegas to help me celebrate my 30th...just amazing.

Jeff somehow was able to keep it a complete surprise (I didn't know where we were going until we were getting on our connecting flight in Seattle!) He's been organizing this weekend (with help from my girlfriends) for months now & it's awesome that no one spilled the beans! I was totally excited because I was just sure we were going bowling & doing a pub crawl downtown! :)Grammy & Grampy stayed with the kiddos so that was wonderful~they love them very much.

Anyhoo, THANK YOU to my wonderful friends for helping me celebrate & especially to my husband~he is the best husband anyone could ever ask for. EVER.

Longer Hair & A New Tooth (Finally!)

Livvy finally has her first tooth coming in!! It's the bottom right front one and as usual, she has been a total trooper about the whole thing. :) Her hair is getting longer too, so I had to start practicing putting little ponytails in. We seem to have very similar hair and as many of you know, I am a total imbecile at doing hair, so I need to start practicing NOW! :)

Christmas Part 1 (Bozeman)

We had such a great Christmas! We spent the evening of the 23rd of December with my family opening gifts with the kids, then headed to Cody for the 24th & 25th! It was wonderful to have our little girl celebrate her first Christmas & Brady is now at an age where he really gets it. Santa even stopped by early (at Papa's request) to Nana & Papa's house! :)

Brady got a cool Michigan State basketball jersey from Uncle EJ & was LOVING it! He is really, really into basketball so it was a perfect gift! He likes to pretend like he's a "Bobcat basketball guy" and run out of the tunnel~here he is doing a little of that.












I'm starting to wonder if he's inherited the Daws boys' skinny legs gene...sure looks like it here!

We also got to see my Graf cousins Anna & Gretchen & their kids before Christmas! It was definitely not enough time, but the kids had a fun little sledding party at Nana & Papa's house with some hot chocolate & cookies afterwards! :)

Christmas Part 2 (Cody)

It was a great Christmas in Cody at Grammy & Grampy's new beautiful house! Brady LOVED helping get the cookies & milk & reindeer food ready the night before & was really cute the next morning. In fact, he kept trying to replay when he woke up & Santa had come the rest of the weekend! :) It was a great time with Grammy & Grampy & Lez & Bryce with good food & lots of fun.
