Mothers Day

We had a great Mothers Day! We went to church with my mom (dad was out visiting EJ) then met Dusty & Gina for brunch at Riverside CC. I feel so lucky to be a mom of 2 wonderful kids...motherhood has simply been the best job of my life! :) I also feel so fortunate for my own mom~she is truly one of the most important people in my life. Nebraska!

Even though we went back to Nebraska for a sad reason, we had a wonderful time with our family there. We only wish we lived closer & could see all of them more often! The roadtrip is 15 hours each way but the kiddos did amazing! They have been such troopers with all the travel lately & we are very lucky. Here are some pictures from our time there!

As I think I've mentioned before, The Weedin Farm is basically Disneyworld for Brady~he loves everything about it!! THANK YOU to Craig & Shelly for letting us stay with them!

We spent quite a bit time with cousin Luke & his little girl Layla~Layla & Brady are about 9 months apart in age & got along great!

Bath Time!

We went into Lincoln for a baseball game with Craig & Shelly & got to meet up with Aunt Kay & Jeff so that was perfect!

This was the best! Livvy learned how to "throw up the bones" while she was in Lincoln so we can't wait to watch the Huskers defense this year & have her show off her new skill!

I know I am biased but she has to be one of the cutest little peanuts around!

They have a beautiful stadium & you can see Memorial Stadium in the back~got us fired up to get back there this fall for a football game!

Ok I know I have posted pictures of their miniature horse, Hoss, before but I had to post these ones as well! This little horse is a very unique little dude...a bit grumpy, but loveable at the same time.

We found out he loves to eat cookies & that is the only way Luke can trim his bangs...I'm not quite sure how or why Luke is the person in the family held responsible for this task (maybe it's just a talent he was born with?) but honestly it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen & Hoss was the spitting image of Joe Dirt after it was all said & done.

New Swingset

We have been wanting to put up a swingset in our backyard for quite a while & finally pulled the trigger on one & put it up this week! The kids LOVE it & we are looking forward to a fun summer playing in the backyard every chance we get! We've had it up for 2 days now & can hardly keep Brady off of it! :) Our friend Hadley Holmquist spent the day with us today so the two buddies had a blast playing.

Fun Times with Grandparents!

The kids were lucky enough to spend time with both sets of grandparents while Jeff & I were on our trips & they had so much fun! They were with Nana & Papa while we were in Mexico & then with Grammy & Grampy while we were in Hawaii. Although it was very hard to us to leave them home, we also knew they are in the absolute BEST care when they are with their grandparents & all parties seem to love it! :) We feel very fortunate to say the least.

We had wanted to take the kids to this amazing dinosaur show in Billings but since we were out of town, they went with Grammy & Grampy & met up with Lez, Bryce & Jane! (Thanks to Marci for the pics!) Brady loves dinosaurs & had a great time.

After the dinosaur show, Lez had everyone including the Moraskos over to her place for a fun BBQ~she has this amazing bouncy house that the kids had a blast in!

The kids were both sick while they were with my folks but still had fun movie nights & "Sparty Parties" watching Michigan State in the tourney! :)
