Little Peanut

A couple new pictures of our little sweetie pie!  The video at the bottom is her singing our patented "Girls Day" song we sing while Brady is at school. :)  It may be hard to imagine after seeing the video but we are seeing flashes of the "terrible two's" from this little lady...fortunately they are still few and far between!

Cousin Fun & Daddy's Birthday

As usual, Daddy's birthday fell right on Cat/Griz which was really fun because Lez, Bryce & Jane came up for a visit as well as Grampy & his friend Ron for the game.  The game was a complete flop but it was great to have them here & I managed to get a couple pictures!  I am totally aware the mustache pictures are extremely disturbing, but I had to put them up...most of our buddies had mustaches for the game & it was pretty hilarious.

Thanksgiving in Nebraska!

We loaded the car up & headed to Nebraska for Thanksgiving.  The road trip could not have gone smoother which was a blessing when you're driving with two kids under 5 yrs old for 14 hours!  We had an awesome time seeing family & even got to enjoy 2 Thanksgiving dinners & 1 Husker game! :)  We love our family out there & only wish we lived closer to see them more often!

Thanks again to Craig & Shelly for hosting us at their beautiful house!  We had so much fun spending lots of quality time with the Weedins & the kids got to play, Play, PLAY with Layla, Khloe & Maddyn!

We had such a great time at the game!!  Craig & Shelly were kind enough to watch the kids at the farm while we had a complete blast with Doug & Sarah, Kay & Jeff, Seth & Betsy, Drew & Paige & Luke!  It was a pretty epic day with lots of fun memories made!

After the game, we walked over with Doug & Sarah to Aunt Anne's sorority house where some of her best friends had a beautiful statue put up in her memory.  She loved to read & was a teacher so it was absolutely perfect.  It was incredibly touching to see it and very emotional.  Such a tribute to such an amazing person...she is so missed.

Brady Turns 5!

Our little boy turns 5 today & we can hardly believe it...I know it's a cliche' but it truly seems like yesterday we were in the hospital snuggling our little one, memorizing every feature and soaking up his newborn smell & soft skin.  Brady has been such a blessing to us since day one.  He is an incredibly loving, and KIND little boy & we are so proud of him.  He is a wonderful big brother and he is a wonderful son.  I love our lazy breakfasts and I love checking in on him every night before I go to bed and giving him a kiss while he's sleeping. He & Daddy are best buds & still love their epic wrestling matches, light saber wars & watching sports together! He adores his little sister and he takes very good care of his mama.

There have been a lot of "firsts" over this last year...he learned to swim, saw the ocean for the first time, and played on his first team in t-ball.  He had his first surgery (tonsils, adenoids, tubes in), he learned to ski,  and he enjoyed swimming in the lake at the cabin & had his first real Yellowstone adventure!  It has been such a great year & has been so much fun watching him grow & transition from a toddler to a little boy.

I know that we aren't supposed to be sad when our babies grow up but I have tears streaming down my face just thinking about how fast these 5 years have gone.  So many fun memories to be made in the years ahead but for today I'm reflecting on the last 5 perfect ones.

Brady's Project

The first week of school we were asked to bring in a picture of our family so Brady could "write" a story about his family with the help of his preschool teacher.  Here is a picture of his story about our family--it really cracked me up--one would think Denarius is part of our family! :)  Figured it was fitting to post this on Cat/Griz week...a big week for us!

Fall Fun

We had such a beautiful fall this year (which sadly is over now, we've had snow in our backyard since last Saturday.) Here are some pictures from a couple weeks ago. We found a great tree on our park with lots of leaves to play in while on a little walk.  It had tried to snow minutes before we headed out (typical Bozeman Fall!) so it was a little chilly but what's better than playing in leaves as a kid?  Got some cute pictures from it!

This one was taken on our last golf outing with my folks in early October--it was a beautiful day & fun to get one last round in!
