Pool Party! {Super Girl Turns 3}

Our little super girl turned the big 3 when we were in Hawaii so we celebrated with a pool party!  Although she is still pretty tiny (still under the 10th percentile for both height & weight) she makes up for it with a pretty big personality! :)  She is still just the sweetest & brightens every single day.  One of my favorite things about my little girl is her ability to show love & affection to her friends & family.  She absolutely adores her big brother (although she can push his buttons a bit too) and she still has Daddy completely wrapped around her little finger.  I overheard her telling Brady how much she loved him in the bathroom this morning and it made my heart swell.  They have a very special bond and it's so much fun to watch.  We have definitely seen more and more "toddler" behavior out of her but thankfully those naughty moments seem to pass pretty quickly.  She loves going to "school" on Wednesday mornings and she loves to be "twins" with her mommy which completely melts me.  Here are some pictures from her pool party birthday bash!

We gave her a little hula girl outfit which was received with mixed reviews...she just wasn't so sure about it, but we brought it home & it's going to be fun for those dress up days!

**We are settled into our condo, Daddy gets back tonight from being out of town for a business trip in Seattle & also The Masters golf tournament last week (lucky guy!) and my internet is back up and running after being down for a while--SO hopefully we'll get this blog back up and running again! :) **

Exciting Changes!

I can't believe it's been over a month since our last post! :(  Things have been pretty wild but I hope to update this thing over the next week with some fun pictures!  To explain my absence on here, I have to start with the exciting news that we are in the process of selling our house & building a new one!  We have  lived in our home almost 9 years & it has been a wonderful home but we are simply growing out of it!  We have found a great lot in a great family neighborhood that is about 2 blocks from the elementary school & 3 blocks from the middle school so we are very excited about that.  Although it is a little bittersweet to be moving from the home we brought our babies home from the hospital to, Jeff & the kids & I are very excited to be in a home we will live in for a long time.  I will be sure to update the blog with pictures of the house being built (the foundation is already in!) along the way.  We close on our current home March 30th so are scrambling to pack & move and will be glad when that process is done (for the time being.) Dusty & Gina made an offer on a new home the same day we got an offer on our house so we are going to live in their condo while our house is being built.  It will be a little tight for a few months, but it is a very cute condo & will work perfect.

Two days after we got an offer on our house & made a decision on our lot & new home, we left on a family vacation with my folks to Hawaii!  It was a little surreal to be away on vacation while these big changes were happening but it was such a great vacation!!  So many memories were made & lots & lots of great photos to come!

Little Miss Sunshine

Liv's current obsession: her new swimsuits!  Nana & Papa bought her a pink surfer girl one & Daddy has always wanted her to have a yellow polka dot bikini.  She literally went for 2 days alternating which suit she was wearing...I had to finally hide them...literally! :)

Fun Billings Weekend

We headed to Billings last weekend to help Jane celebrate her 6th birthday!  It was so much fun to go to her bowling party & spend her special weekend with her.  She is such a sweet girl & we love her very much!

Grammy & Grampy joined us for a pizza party later!

The big kids got to go skiing with the dads on Saturday at Red Lodge.  It was the first time they had skied together and they had so much fun!!  Brady told me he really wanted to beat Jane down the mountain but I don't think that happened! :) They are such good little buddies.

I made such a big deal out of how cool his harness was because it looked like the expert skiers with their backpacks that even though he doesn't need the harness anymore, he still likes to wear it! :)

Livvy, Lez and I had a fantastic Girls Day in Billings!  Complete with a coffee shop/hot chocolate stop, shopping & lunch!  She loved all the attention & she & Lez became even closer little buddies from the quality time!

Ski Day!

Here are a couple videos of Brady skiing without his harness! :)  Nana & Papa took Brady & his mama up to ski at Big Sky a couple weeks ago (Jeff and Liv had a fun Daddy/Livvy day at home swimming & going to lunch!)  It was just so much fun to watch the major strides he makes every time he skis & it was even better to see how much he truly ENJOYS it!  Melted our hearts to watch & I loved every minute sharing my favorite thing with my little boy.  I swear I skied backwards probably 80% of the time just so I could take it all in!  

As it was really starting to click he literally said to me "Mama I am just so happy about myself!"  and later as we're skiing side by side "I am never gonna stop skiing...it's so fun!" :)  Love that he's building confidence & having fun...can't wait to get little Liv up there hopefully later this winter!

Lessons Learned At Grammy & Grampy's

Our Nebraska Family is sure to love this!!  Brady & Liv spent a few days with Grammy & Grampy in Cody while Jeff & I were in Scottsdale & they had such a  blast.  We totally appreciate them taking the kids while we're gone & the kids love every minute with them!!
