Hikin' Huskers

Daddy heard so much about our adventure to the "M" yesterday, we decided we better go on a hike as a family before the Huskers played this afternoon.  We headed up to Drinking Horse Trail which is in a similar area as the M (maybe 10 minutes from our house.)  This trail is special because there is a bridge that is dedicated in memory of my dear friend from high school, Kev Mundy.  The weather was perfect & again Brady loved going all the way on his own & Liv loved hangin' in the backpack.  Lots of pictures to follow...Jeff & I aren't big hikers so we figured we better document the experience...who knows, though--we may have the hiking bug now! :)

There was a really cool fort for kids to play in & help build on at the summit--needless to say this was a huge hit!

Our town in the background

Sonny's patented move...just lay down right in the water!

Livvy was very helpful in pointing out any dog poop on the trail...

Settling in to watch the game with our Husker buddies, The Schueys!
